We are obsessed with pictures these days. Phones have cameras that take better pictures than some of the high-end cameras of just a few years ago. People are regularly taking pictures of others and some take lots of pictures of themselves.

Do you ever freeze up on tests? All tests or just certain ones? There are many different kinds of tests. There are spelling tests, math tests, driving tests, tests of patience, tests of character and eye tests and blood tests, the list goes on and on.

If you have been around religion very long, you know there can be tension over the connection of faith and works. Are we saved by faith or by works?

You have heard us talk about this before, “one of the most important things about you is what comes into your mind when you think about God.” And, “what you think God thinks about you” may be just as important.

I read an interesting blog this week from the “Congressional Black Caucus Foundation.” I don’t know all their values or beliefs but this statement sure resonates with me, “as civil society in America changed, there was also a loss of civility itself – and the culture of consequence mutated into the culture of no consequences.”
